Ali Meyers is a graduate from Georgia Southern University, where she completed her BSc in Nutrition & Food Science and her MSc in Kinesiology. Her comprehensive dietetic internship was completed with Capital District Health Authority in Halifax, NS. Ali was initially drawn to the field of nutrition due to her collegiate career as a competitive swimmer.
Ali has worked as an outpatient Dietitian in both the private and public health sectors. For the past 6 years she has been practicing in Chronic Disease management and obtained her Certified Diabetes Educator designation in 2019.
Ali’s specialty areas include:
chronic disease management (diabetes, obesity, heart disease)
Pre and Post-Natal Nutrition – including gestational diabetes
Family nutrition including baby-led weaning, and picky eating
After becoming a Mom, family and paediatric nutrition became a true passion for Ali. Whether it be Pre-/postnatal nutrition, baby-led weaning, and picky eating she is ready to support you with practical and evidence-based support.
