I’m Joy Kiddie and I am a Registered Dietitian from Vancouver, Canada that has been in private practice since 2008. I have a post-graduate degree in Human Nutrition and more than 5 years’ experience helping people follow low carb and ketogenic diets.
I design individualized Meal Plans for those pursuing healthy eating or weight loss, as well as for those seeking to put chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure (hypertension) and high cholesterol into remission.
I will design a Meal Plan for you based on your needs — including your personal medical history, any medications you may take, family risk factors, and will also take into consideration your food likes and dislikes, any religious or cultural dietary restrictions, time constraints, as well as meal preparation ability.
For those seeking specialized ketogenic services, I also provide therapeutic diets to those with glioblastoma (as adjunct treatment along with simultaneous chemo and radiation) and with the knowledge of the overseeing oncologist, and therapeutic ketogenic diets to adults with seizure disorder. Ketogenic diets are not a cure — not for type 2 diabetes, epilepsy or cancer but they are used with the goal of helping put symptoms into remission.
There is no one-sized-fits-all low carb or ketogenic diet!
