As a Dietitian, I support clients to make peace with food and their body by working to normalize all foods, reject diet culture and challenge food rules to reduce stress around eating. I provide nutrition counselling and education to support a healthy relationship with food primarily for clients across the lifespan with emotional eating, disordered eating and eating disorders. I work in collaboration with mental health and eating disorder services to provide evidence based care to clients in need. I think it’s essential to meet clients where they are at on the spectrum of recovery and help them to build confidence in themselves that recovery is possible and to elicit change. My goal is to promote normalization of all foods and bodies through a light humoured and down to earth approach.
